Production:
Brainstorm 3′s superb production quality is completely unrivaled by it’s competition. The transition between each battle is seamless, which gives this battle DVD a certain fluidity that others don’t posess. The sound quality is also excellent. Another unique bonus is an on screen bracket for the final 16 emcees, complete with their name and picture. As far as production value is concerned, Brainstorm 3 is top notch.
In depth review after the jump!
The man who once exclaimed, “I’d beat you at your own game, but hockey’s for fags!” as well as claiming Canada’s largest export was “sissies“, was recently spotted at a Canuck’s game in Vancouver, B.C. One can only assume that Illmaculate is a traitor heading for America’s hat to dodge taxes. We’ll keep you updated.
First of all, to those of you who missed the event: SUCKAZ!! Obviously the shit was beyond retarded, but that’s to be expected when you link together Cali, Washington and Oregon on one of the biggest party nights of the year.
Unfortunately only 3 battles popped off, but they were definitely above average and well worth watching.
XT Vs. Young Nate was another solid match up with both battlers coming well prepared. A few of you disliked Young Nate’s antics in his last battles, but they were a lot more toned down in this showing.
9DM Vs. Illusion-Z was definitely my favorite battle of the night. Each round was really close with a few small factors determining the overall winner. Both battler’s game plan seemed to be to target very specific things about one another and stick to it throughout, and with both of them being very complete battlers, the final verses were very sick. I can’t wait for the footage.
Franco Vs. Ex-I I somehow remember the least of, although I know it was definitely a good battle. Damn alcohol.
After the jump we’ll have tons of pictures and event recaps from those fortunate enough to be in attendance.

By now most of you have seen the culmination of the online feud between Cali battle veteran Okwerdz and New York representative Jaze Juce. Currently there is hot debate over who won the match, as well as a plethora of other retarded issues from disgruntled battle fans. Many of you are still curious as to what caused the beef in the first place, the tension between the competitors in person, and of course the thoughts of each emcee now that the battle is over.
View the footage as well as Okwerdz’ post-battle thoughts after the jump.
Each week I’ll be uploading essential battle instrumentals for your listening pleasure. We’ll start it off nice and easy with a few classics. Stay tuned, pansies!
