Kevin Beacham, ring leader of Scribble Jam has finally confirmed the persistent rumors that the annual event will be no more. This sucks for many reasons, the biggest for me being that Scribble was the last real legitimate event which hosted a top notch stage battle. Not that Grind Time isn’t a decent substitute, but there’s nothing like witnessing a great live stage battle with beats and mics. The event lasted for 3 days and served as an excellent meeting ground for all walks of hip-hop life.

scribble is not over. they didnt have the money to do it this year. if enough people contribute (buying the dvds) and the economy gets better there WILL BE a scribble jam 2010
I wonder if they could have done it through sponsorship or artist help Dam they need to do like an online telathon for stuff like this Scribble is an important event
