Two scribbles and two WRCs, combined with taking out Madness in GT. Thesaurus is a beast.
AND he beat Jelly Donut, which equals automatic dopest rapper out there.
i voted for other, but thats cause i believe it is a tie. or very close. If any one was to take the number one spot it would have to be the saurus, while Iron is very very dope the saurus has just been in so many more battles, im sure he must have been in over 100 by now, if you count up the 2 WRC regular seasons, play offs and finals, i think hes been in 3 scribble jams, lounge battles, spin the mic, im sure he has done tourettes and the 16bars cometition pluss the odd street battle or grind time battle… need i go on? And every single battle of him i have seen BAR NONE he has come hard. He has the most quotables out there for sure, no question about that one. Yeah, hes taken a few L’s along the way but they are all debatable, apart from maybe madness at LB6, or Fran.co at Scribble ’07.
VS Iron will always be debated with the whole written vs freestyle, saurus being fatigued and regardless of all that the battle should have gone into OT anyway, or saurus posssssibly taking the W.
VS Illmac is debatable just because their performances were pretty even, some people even saying saurus should have won.
VS Justice, although all judges gave it to justice despite most of them being saurus’ homies, i think its definatley concievable that saurus got in in the regular rounds. ‘justice is served’ ‘less distinguished version of an english person
VS Dizaster, although Diz got it in OT with his whole last multi (half burnt terminator, try’na make his return as an urban skater) i believe the saurus took it in 3. Dizaster definatley had some hot lines but if you total up his time he had 4 mins in the first 3 rounds when saurus had 3. If all of dizasters rounds were shortned to 1min, most of his dope shit would never have came out, seeing as he always finished with his strongest lines. I could go on for a lot longer about that battle but I’ll leave it there.
Franco and Madness, i think its fair to say beat him. even though against franco “it was by choice, cause he didnt loose the battle, he lost his voice” haha but on the real i think franco just came better. POSSIBLE over time but its a respectable choice that franco won.
I may have missed off a loss or two there but if someone reminds me of them i will give an explanation as to why he may not have lost, cause when i remember every loss he has had i always have reasons why he didnt lose.
He is one of the greatest freestylers, and if one was to list the best… say 10 or 20 punchlines of freestyle battle rapping it is guarenteed he will have a stack of lines up there unless the person was mentally retarded. I also rate saurus’ music, i know a lot of people dont but i think its very good, although i have only heard whats on his myspace.
i wrote that long ass essay so hopefully anyone who is reading it can respect my opinions wether they aggree with me or not, and to know im not coming out of my ass when i say some other contenders (maybe not right yet, but with some more footage out and a bit more steez) would be Arkaic and Jee-Money. I’m not going to go into much depth here but with arkaic, granted his 06 footage isnt great but he stepped it up a million times for 07 from what can be seen in the WRC and he dished out to mickey negro one of the greatest murders ever seen! While we are on the subject of murders, another historic one is Jee VS State Of Mynd. Jee money has the complete battle rapper package, he has fresh writtens, humour, swagger, relevent freestyles and flips that are just off the chain. Which can pretty much all be said about arkaic, apart from maybe his swagger could do with a bit of tweaking but i still think he is one of the best, a lot of people just disregard the possibility cause hes english.
Obviously other honourable mentions go out to Illmaculate and Iron Solomon (who it might have sounded like i was coming off bad on them before when i wasnt), Anecdote, Eurgh (and whilst every time i mention eurghs name amongst the greats people always say “fuck that little cry baby” or something to that effect, wether a cry baby or not there is no denying his battling skill), Kid Twist, and im sure there are a few more that i am forgetting but im sure you can appreciate my brain needs a rest after all that typing.

cmon no 360? he choked against kid twist but that was his only slip up and his one nearly every other battle he’s been in, his funniest cunt on earth, and when he wants ta be serious, his a serious bastard, 360 all the way, but from that list, thesaurus, but overall definatelt 360.
